Location: Hollywood, FL, 33024 Duration: 4 Months Possible Extension / Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Mon - Fri 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM, every Saturday 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Description: Seeking an Entry Level Phlebotomist / Patient Service Representative I (PSR I) to provide exceptional patient care and customer service in a laboratory setting. This role is primarily focused on patient check-in, lobby support, and customer service, with phlebotomy coverage provided during breaks and staffing shortages.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and assist with check-in using kiosks/tablets.
• Answer patient questions and explain procedures with care and compassion.
• Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming lobby environment.
• Support phlebotomy staff during breaks and staffing shortages.
• Perform phlebotomy and clinical/forensic specimen collection when assigned.
• Complete documentation and data entry accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Follow established safety, quality, and laboratory procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent Required.
• Phlebotomy experience Required, including internship/externship experience.
• 12 years of customer-facing experience Required (healthcare, retail, home health, hospitality, etc.).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Keyboarding/data entry experience required.
• Ability to work in both lobby and draw-room environments.
• Compassionate, professional, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
