DEFENSE TRAVEL ADMINISTRATOR

Duties
Provides support and advisory assistance regarding execution of all aspects of travel and policy responsibilities in the implementation and sustainment of the Defense Travel System.
Exercises analytical knowledge and expertise to review recommendations proposed by management and technical specialists; participates in DTS travel assessment of the overall impact of proposed changes; and assists with implementation plans.
Maintains constant liaison with DFAS management to identify program and management requirements and participates in discussion associated with agency proposals regarding Defense Travel System updates.
Advises management officials on the implementation of new systems and programs related to DoW travel. Identifies and resolves travel problems, assesses overall effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
