Job Summary
Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) – [Location]. This position involves performing and interpreting a variety of laboratory procedures including serologic, chemical, bacteriologic, immunohematologic (blood bank), and microscopic tests. The role supports accurate diagnostics and treatment through timely, precise testing and quality control, adhering to established laboratory protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, with potential to flex to evenings and work holidays as needed. Shift hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, MT(ASCP) or CLS (ASCP) certification, 1 year of experience.
- Additional Responsibilities: Troubleshooting instruments and reagents, performing quality control, conducting maintenance and calibrations, verifying new products and procedures, and assisting in training new associates.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Responsibilities also include performing quality audits, technical policy development, managing supply inventories, and ensuring compliance with laboratory standards.
