  • Develop and enhance machine status monitoring applications, including stacklight functionality and real-time equipment visibility.

  • Participate in technical discovery and solution design for replacing legacy Direct Numerical Control (DNC) and recipe management systems.

  • Help build solutions for managing and uploading CNC programs and recipe files to manufacturing equipment.

  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to define requirements and develop effective solutions.

  • Troubleshoot application issues, improve performance, and support system reliability.

  • Evaluate integration approaches and technologies to simplify existing manufacturing applications.

  • Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Ignition development experience is required; all experience levels will be considered.

  • Ability to write, troubleshoot, and maintain Ignition application code.

  • Understanding of software development, application integration, and troubleshooting practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to translate technical or business requirements into functional solutions.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card Holder) to meet project-specific ITAR access restrictions.

Preferences

  • Experience developing or supporting industrial automation and manufacturing applications.

  • Experience with Kepware or similar industrial connectivity platforms.

  • Familiarity with Andon systems, stacklight monitoring, or machine status visualization.

  • Knowledge of CIMCO Andon or CIMCO DNC applications.

  • Experience with CNC equipment, Direct Numerical Control (DNC), or recipe management systems.

  • Experience developing solutions for transferring machine programs or recipe files to manufacturing equipment.

  • Experience modernizing or replacing legacy manufacturing applications.

  • Understanding of manufacturing systems, shop floor operations, or equipment integration.
