What you’ll take on in the field

• Own complex troubleshooting and repairs for heavy‑duty diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems (including CAN bus and ECM), plus medium and light‑duty applications.
• Perform precision engine overhauls, rebuilds, and high‑complexity mechanical repairs.
• Leverage advanced diagnostic tooling and OEM service information to isolate and resolve hard faults.
• Operate cranes and specialized tooling to execute safe, high‑level maintenance.
• Coach and mentor junior technicians; set the bar for workmanship and teamwork.
• Translate diagnostics into clear, actionable recommendations for customers on site.
• Document every step: inspections, repairs, parts, and calibrations with meticulous accuracy.
• Champion safety, process discipline, and continuous improvement on every job.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5–10+ years in heavy equipment, diesel, or hydraulic system repair.
• Deep fluency across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems; strong CAN bus/ECM diagnostic capability.
• Your own professional tool set appropriate for field service.
• Self‑directed, organized, and steady under pressure; able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to operate a company vehicle (mobile role).
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Comfort lifting 50+ lbs and working indoors and outdoors in varied conditions.

Preferred credentials

• Multiple ASE certifications (T2–T8) or Master Diesel Technician.
• Leadership background as a lead tech, supervisor, or shop manager.
• Proven mobile/field service expertise and customer‑facing experience leading job‑site projects.
