Business Development Manager - Structural Erection

Own new business development for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector on large Midwest jobs of 5,000+ tons. The permanent full-time Business Development Manager role comes with $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and Midwest travel.
Position duties
- Generate steel erection opportunities with Midwest owners and general contractors
- Direct pursuits for structural steel packages on projects of 5,000+ tons
- Follow competitor moves, bid calendars, and upcoming project pipelines
- Be the representative of an AISC-certified Michigan erector in client and industry meetings
- Travel across the Midwest to support pursuits and grow client relationships
Qualifications to bring
- Business development or sales track record in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
- Experience pursuing and winning large Midwest tonnage projects
- General contractor, fabricator, or owner relationships preferred
- Ready to travel throughout the Midwest
- Strong communicator with a demonstrated closing record
