We are seeking a Warehouse Receiver for a Temp-Hire position with our customer, a local manufacturer of high quality party party prizes and items located in Springfield, Oregon.The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, counting, inspecting, documenting, and storing incoming shipments. This role helps maintain inventory accuracy, resolves delivery discrepancies, and supports a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse operation.

Duties and Responsibilities for Warehouse Receiver:

• Receive and unload incoming shipments safely, timely and efficiently.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• Inspect products for damage, shortages, quality issues, and incorrect items.
• Record receipts accurately in the warehouse management system.
• Label, stage, and route materials to the correct storage or department location.
• Report and help resolve shipment discrepancies with purchasing, vendors, or
• carriers.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and supporting documentation.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as
• authorized.
• Keep receiving docks, aisles, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures, inventory controls, and company policies.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, returns, and other warehouse duties as
• needed.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• 2 years previous receiving, distribution, inventory, or warehouse experience
• Ability to read and compare purchase orders, packing slips, labels, and shipping
  documents.
• Basic Math and computer skills
• Knowledge of weights and measurements
• Ability to be accurate and efficient
• Must be able to work as a team member
• High School or equivalent required
