Project Consultant (Outside Sales) – Roofing & Exterior Restoration

At Aspen Contracting, we're looking for experienced roofing and exterior restoration sales professionals who understand how to identify opportunities, earn homeowners' trust, and turn inspections into successful projects.

If you're currently working in roofing sales, storm restoration, exterior remodeling, or another home improvement company, you already understand the industry. You know the customer conversations, the importance of follow-up, and what it takes to move a project from an initial inspection to a closed sale.

We're not looking to teach you how to sell from scratch. We're looking for someone who already knows the industry and is ready to put that experience to work.

Hiring throughout the Springfield, MO area, including surrounding communities.

Important: This position services the Springfield market. While you will travel locally to customer appointments, all training, team meetings, and required office-based business activities are based out of our Nixa office. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to this office as required.

• Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
  
  
• Compensation: $70,000–$200,000+ potential
  
  
• Pay Structure: Weekly pay plus uncapped commission
  
  
• Training: Paid training provided
  
  
• Schedule: Daytime and evening appointments, with occasional weekends based on customer availability
  
  
• Travel: Local travel throughout the Springfield market
  
  
• Experience Required: Previous roofing or exterior restoration sales experience

What You’ll Do

• Meet with homeowners to assess roofing and exterior restoration needs.

• Conduct property inspections and identify potential project opportunities.
  
  
• Build customer relationships and establish trust throughout the sales process.
  
  
• Present solutions based on each homeowner's needs and property conditions.
  
  
• Explain recommendations, project options, and next steps clearly.
  
  
• Manage customer relationships from the initial appointment through project completion.
  
  
• Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  
  
• Follow up consistently, address objections, and move qualified opportunities toward closing.
  
  
• Use company technology to document customer information and project details.
  
  
• Coordinate with internal teams to support a smooth customer experience.
  
  
• Represent Aspen professionally while upholding our commitment to Doing the Right Thing.

You may be a strong fit if you have experience with:

• Residential roofing sales and homeowner consultations.

• Storm restoration, insurance restoration, or exterior remodeling.

• Building rapport, presenting solutions, and closing sales.
  
  
• Managing a pipeline and maintaining consistent customer follow-up.
  
  
• Taking ownership of your results while working independently and collaboratively.
  
  

Relevant experience may include residential roofing, siding, gutters, storm damage restoration, roofing inspections, door-to-door roofing sales, or other home improvement sales.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
  
  
• Previous roofing or exterior restoration sales experience is required.
  
  
• Residential roofing sales experience is strongly preferred.
  
  
• Experience conducting inspections, managing opportunities, and maintaining a sales pipeline is preferred.
  
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  
  
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Springfield market.
  
  
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  
  
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow through with customers.
  
  
• Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, and company technology.
  
  
• Ability to reliably commute to the Nixa reporting office for required training, meetings, and business activities.
