Principal Engineering Lead - API & Azure Integration
Location: Plano, Texas - Onsite Need to be at customer office 2-days/week

Job Summary:
Engineering Lead with solid focus on API Architecture (including all the responsibilities below) and strong communication. He/she must speak with the business users, manage requirements and also the board. This position is to be based in the Dallas area.

Mandatory:
Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end REST API development using C# and the latest .NET versions (.NET 7/8/10)

• Mandatory: Experience developing APIs that integrate with internal systems as well as external/third-party APIs
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience building Azure Functions with multiple triggers (HTTP, Timer, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.)
• Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency APIs capable of handling millions of transactions
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD / Entra ID
• Apply API integration and resiliency patterns, including timeouts, retries, circuit breakers, and idempotency
• Develop APIs using Azure App Services and other Azure platform services
• Implement structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing using Application Insights and Azure Monitor
• Work with Azure Cosmos DB and other scalable data stores
• Ensure secure and reliable deployments through CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Good to have: Experience with Azure Container Apps and containerized workloads
