Structural/Plate & Pipe Code Welder (GMAW/FCAW, D1.1/WABO)

Do you prefer reading prints, fitting complex assemblies, and seeing a unique project through—rather than running the same bead all day? Join a growing team delivering structural steel, platforms, stairs, and piping systems for industrial and commercial applications.

You’ll take on

• Fabricating and fitting structural and miscellaneous steel components
• Welding beams, columns, stairs, platforms, and process pipe systems using GMAW/FCAW
• Interpreting blueprints, isometrics, weld symbols, and working to WPS
• Measuring, cutting, grinding, and assembling to tight tolerances
• Safe operation of overhead cranes and forklifts
• Partnering with teammates to deliver one-off builds

Must-haves

• 4+ years of welding and/or fitting experience
• Fluency with drawings, weld symbols, and WPS
• Proficiency in MIG (GMAW) and/or Flux Core (FCAW) on structural steel, plate, and pipe
• AWS D1.1 and WABO certifications in GMAW or FCAW, minimum 2G position
• Sharp eye for detail and clean weld aesthetics
• Comfort in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment

• Structural steel fabrication background
• Pipe welding or mechanical fab experience
• Experience with custom or complex builds
• Forklift or overhead crane experience
