Picture a day on a steel frame high above the ground—your craftsmanship lays the foundation for the floors to come. As a Structural Decking Ironworker & Sheet Metal Welder, you’ll install and/or weld sheet metal decking on steel structures and perform shear stud installation with safety and precision.

What You’ll Do

• Lay out, place, and fasten sheet metal decking on structural steel
• Perform welding tasks and shear stud installation as required
• Use hand, power, pneumatic, and powder‑actuated tools safely and effectively
• Care for and maintain tools and equipment
• Record time and attendance accurately using mobile technology
• Follow OSHA, customer, and company safety rules at all times
• Pitch in with other site duties as needed

Where You’ll Work

• Active construction sites with outdoor conditions (heat and cold)
• At heights over 40 ft on steel structures
• Around hand, power, pneumatic, and powder‑actuated tools

Schedule & Travel

• Full-time, hourly role; daytime shift only
• 100% nationwide travel is required
• Move to the next city/state when a project wraps
• Hours vary by job site and season; projects are located in GA, NM, TX, LA, VA, AZ, SC, MD, and more

What You’ll Bring

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Experience with hand, power, pneumatic, and powder‑actuated tools
• Comfort working outdoors in changing weather
• Ability to work at heights over 40 ft
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

• Lift 75+ lbs

Preferred Certifications (Not Required)

• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety
• Welding Certification
• Aerial Lift Certification

Proficiencies

• Valid Driver’s License
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Construction Site Installation
• Heavy Material Handling
