Python Developer

Position: Senior Python Developer
Location: Dallas, TX (local candidates only)
Work Setup: Hybrid onsite Monday to Thursday

About the Role
We're hiring a senior developer who can build and grow automation frameworks, write solid Python and Java code, and turn data from many sources into clear, reliable dashboards. You'll work across AWS, GitLab, SQL Server, and modern AI coding tools, and partner closely with business and technology teams.

What We Need

Development & Frameworks

• 10 12 years working with a range of automation and development tools and technologies.
• Hands-on skill in creating new frameworks and improving existing ones.
• Strong coding in Python and Java.
• Version control with Git, plus deep experience setting up and configuring GitLab pipelines.

Data & Dashboards

• Building custom dashboards with Streamlit.
• Pulling data from multiple source systems through web services.
• Writing stored procedures to insert and update data in SQL tables.
• SQL Server performance tuning and query optimization.
• Working with Jira APIs, JQL, and GraphQL schemas.

Cloud & AI

• Using core AWS tools and cloud environments to investigate and find the root cause of issues.
• Solid grasp of AI concepts and AI tools such as Kiro and Copilot.

Problem Solving

• Troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and designing and rolling out fixes in your technology area.
• Strong problem-solving, with the ability to juggle priorities, set clear expectations, and deliver.

Bonus Points

• Building dashboards and validating them to make sure the data is correct.
• Taking part in all Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, story grooming, reviews, and retros.
• Good grasp of web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Ability to break down and solve complex problems using strong systems and software knowledge.
