LOCATION

Candidates should be based in the NY metro area. We are a hybrid organization and work three days per week in our midtown New York City office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The ideal candidate must be a creative thinker, a self-starter, and enjoy working in a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven, and community-oriented. Additionally, they will need to be proactive and have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, as this role is a central access point for many meetings, senior team interactions, and activities throughout the organization.

The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and have an ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

The Development Associate should have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work (under deadline at times) to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES EXECUTIVE SUPPORT (25%)

Administrative tasks, supporting the CEO, SVP, People & Operations, and Chief Strategy and Development Officer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing CEO calendar; coordinating large meetings; managing conference rooms and video conferences; communicating on behalf of the executive team with the Comic Relief Board;

DEVELOPMENT TEAM SUPPORT (50%)

Work cross-departmentally to coordinate key meetings, both internal and external,

including volunteer committees; support the Chief in managing key stakeholders, major donors, and volunteers;

SUPPORT EVENTS AND ACTIVATIONS (25%)

This varies by event and may include talent logistics and coordination; resourcing materials and supplies; creation of pitch decks/event invites/other creative materials;

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Comic Relief offers competitive compensation. The salary range for this role is anticipated to be 65K

-70K. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: abilities, skills, work experience, knowledge, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
