Job Title: .NET Full Stack Developer C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server & Test Automation 14+ yrs Exp

Location: West Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Minimum Technical Qualifications:

As of the Offer Due Date, the proposed project person must have the following listed experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as evidenced by Attachment II, Proposed Project Person Skill Summary Sheet and resume:

1. Experience within the last ten (10) years working as a Software Developer leading and participating in the technical implementation of software/systems/applications automating complex business processes, which must include:

• Designing and Developing web-based applications using Microsoft.Net and associated technologies such as ASP.Net.
• Designing and Developing web-based applications using MVC architecture.
• Developing Web Applications using C# using Object-Oriented Concepts.
• Developing User Interface for web applications using jQuery, JavaScript, HTML and XML.
• Developing Testing Utilities for web applications to aid in Unit and System Integration Testing.

2. Experience within the last ten (10) years working as a Software Developer leading and participating in the technical implementation of software/systems/applications automating complex business processes, which must include:

• Designing and Developing web-based applications using Microsoft SQL Server and associate technologies.
• Understanding and interpreting the data model of an existing application. Writing SQL Queries performing complex tasks on the database including database stored procedures containing complex joins as well as grouping and sorting logic.

3.Experience within the last ten (10) years implementing automated testing on projects with large organizations, leading or participating in the technical implementation of software/systems/applications performing all of the following:

• Implement new automated tests based on existing manual test cases and business requirements.
• Propose and create shared libraries of test steps that can be integrated into cross-application test suites.
• Assist in the development of new tools to speed the adoption of automated testing organization wide and maximize re-use and commonality across teams.
• Partner with other teams to evangelize and support automated regression testing practices.
• Using Java, Python, Shell Scripting, or another language as part of test automation.
• Shorten application regression testing windows via automation.
• Write automation tests to improve the test coverage.

4.Experience preparing (i.e. setting and resetting) software testing harness including test tools, test environments, as well as formulating test data sets and test cases for various types of testing (e.g. system test, functional test, performance test, regression test).

5. Experience producing the following documents: testing requirements, testing platform architecture, test plan and strategy, test specifications, test configuration for various tests such as integration testing, system testing, regression testing, stress and loading testing.

6. xperience performing data manipulation, reporting and validation activities (writing SQL queries).

7. Experience using industry leading defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM, JAMA).

8. Experience analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements and translating them into test requirements and test cases.

9. Experience demonstrating experience analyzing test results, generating test scripts, identifying defects and/or anomalies, and fine-tuning test data or test cases.

10. Experience working with requirement elicitation methodologies, documenting business use cases, business rules, functional and nonfunctional requirements.

Desirable Technical Qualifications

It is desirable for the proposed project person to have the following listed experience, knowledge, skills and abilities as evidenced by Attachment II, Proposed Project Person Skill Summary Sheet and resume:

• Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.
• SQL Service database experience with queries using T-SQL (Transact-SQL), stored procedures, triggers, user defined functions, and views.
• Two (2) or more years of experience performing parallel testing and automated testing.
• Proven ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
• Experience involving working knowledge of database administration tasks pertaining to the deployment and configuration of multi-tier web applications with Microsoft SQL Server as the backend.
• Four-year college degree (Bachelor) or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering fields from a government accredited/sanctioned college or university as evidenced by a copy of the diploma. CalSTRS reserves the right to ask for a copy of the degree.
• The proposed project individual must follow a hybrid working model by working on-site 2-3 days a week, or as required by CalSTRS at CalSTRS Headquarters in West Sacramento, CA.
