About the Opportunity

A growing organization in Orem, Utah, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support its accounting operations and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with experience in complex financial structures, investment accounting, and multi-entity reporting to join a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to partner with leadership on financial strategy and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities, month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage accounting activities across investment portfolios and multiple entities.
• Monitor investment performance, capital activity, asset valuations, and cash flow.
• Lead multi-entity consolidations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Develop and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with executive leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
• Mentor accounting team members and support ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry.
• Experience as a Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller preferred.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and complex accounting principles.
• Experience managing multiple entities and consolidations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
