Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead to lead technical design, development, and delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, Gosu programming, PCF, data models, and integrations, along with experience leading development teams and supporting end-to-end implementation.

The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, product owners, and offshore development teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. Experience with Generative AI and AI-assisted development is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design reviews, technical analysis, development oversight, and end-to-end solution delivery.
• Configure and develop Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions using Gosu, PCF, data models, and integrations.
• Review business requirements and user stories, provide technical designs, estimate effort, and recommend implementation approaches.
• Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore PolicyCenter development teams.
• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and branch, code, merge, and release coordination.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues.
• Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, production deployments, and post-production fixes.
• Use GUnit, Gosu scripts, Guidewire Profiler, and performance optimization techniques to improve application quality.
• Identify and implement Generative AI use cases, prompt engineering techniques, and AI-assisted development accelerators.
• Improve developer productivity, code quality, testing, and delivery processes through AI-enabled solutions.
• Coordinate effectively with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Expertise in Guidewire configuration, Gosu, PCF, data models, and integrations.
• Technical leadership and development team coordination experience.
• Strong understanding of technical design, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Experience with GUnit, Gosu scripting, and Guidewire Profiler.
• Experience with SIT/UAT, defect resolution, production support, and release management.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted software development.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Jacksonville, Florida.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire PolicyCenter certification.
• Guidewire Cloud experience.
• Experience implementing Generative AI and AI-assisted development solutions.
• Previous experience leading large-scale Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation or transformation programs.
