Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Architect (Project Architect) to lead project teams from schematic design through construction administration, coordinating closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead design development and production of construction documents
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communication
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil consultants
- Perform code analysis and ensure life-safety and accessibility compliance
- Oversee construction administration, submittals, RFIs, and site visits
- Mentor and direct junior designers and architectural staff
Qualifications
- Active state architecture license (North Carolina or eligible for reciprocity)
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- Proven project architect experience in an A&E or architecture firm
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits
Permanent, full-time position. Salary range $90,000 - $120,000 per year based on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development support.
