Job description
Smart Factory / Automation Systems Engineer Bridge mechanical production and software analytics by programming and commissioning automated equipment.
What you'll do Program, modify and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs for new and retrofitted lines Configure industrial robots, cobots and vision systems Integrate and commission AGVs/AMRs with fleet management and MES Connect equipment data to historians and analytics platforms Support FAT/SAT testing and line startups at client sites Requirements 5+ years in automation or controls engineering PLC programming in ladder logic and structured text (Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal) Robot programming experience (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots or Yaskawa) Bachelor's in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics engineering or equivalent experience Nice to have:
- AGV/AMR platforms (OTTO, MiR, Locus), Python, digital twin or simulation tools.
