Job description
Role: Senior Tableau Report Developer / ETL Lead
Location: Hartford, CT
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day/week or 2 days every 2 weeks on-site)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer / Senior ETL Developer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of key data reporting solutions, build and maintain ETL pipelines, and optimize database architectures to support mission-critical enterprise systems.
Key Technical Skills Primary / Required Skills:
- Tableau: Expert-level report development, dashboards, dynamic grouping, and deployment
- SQL & T-SQL: Advanced querying, stored procedures, triggers, and query performance tuning
- ETL / ELT: Data ingestion, cleansing, pipelines, SSIS, or Talend
- Reporting: SSRS report creation and maintenance
- Database Systems: Relational data modeling, data marts, SQL Server, DB2
- Version Control: Git / TFS deployment workflows
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
- Salesforce integration experience
- MuleSoft middleware experience
Core Responsibilities
- Dashboard & Report Development: Build interactive Tableau and SSRS reports tailored to key business metrics.
- Data Integration & ETL: Design robust SSIS/Talend pipelines to migrate, transform, and integrate legacy and external data.
- Database Architecture: Assist in logical/physical data modeling, data dictionary creation, and performance optimization.
- SDLC Leadership: Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to gather requirements, perform data mapping, and execute end-to-end data testing.
Candidate Requirements
- 10+ years overall IT / Data Engineering experience
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Tableau
- 5+ years writing complex SQL/T-SQL and performance tuning
- 5+ years working with SSIS, SSRS, or Talend
- Must be local or willing to commute/relocate to Hartford, CT
