Job description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to drive an enterprise modernization project-converting legacy Oracle Forms applications into modern, secure, and high-performing Oracle APEX applications running on Oracle 19c.
Position Details
- Role: Oracle APEX & Forms Developer
- Location: Harrisburg, PA
- Work Arrangement:Remote
- Interview Process: Webcam or In-Person (Valid State/Federal Photo ID required)
Key Required Skills & Experience
- Oracle APEX: 5+ years of hands-on experience building modern web applications.
- Oracle PL/SQL: 5+ years in advanced PL/SQL (Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, & Complex Queries).
- Database & Tools: Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (19c) and hands-on tool usage with SQL Developer or TOAD.
- Performance Tuning: Proven expertise in debugging, optimizing, and performance tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
- Integrations: Experience with Web Services integration and basic data modeling principles.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Legacy Oracle Forms modernization/conversion experience.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum, Java, XML, HTML, and SOA Architecture.
- Experience crafting technical documentation and system architecture guides.
Primary Responsibilities
- Convert legacy Oracle Forms into modern APEX user interfaces.
- Write and maintain high-performance PL/SQL code.
- Implement application security, user roles, and authorization models.
- Tune database queries and support system releases/deployments.
