Job description
UCHealth is looking for a Locum Physician Cardiovascular Surgeon to fill their need!Schedule:Call coverage needed, ongoing as soon as credentialed. No specific dates are provided until provider has accepted an offer. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, some vacation weekday call coverage 6a-6aDetails:Hospital based100% Adult10-15 hospital-based patients on average per dayPPD: 1-2 Admissions, 8-10 ICU, 1-2 Surgeries400 Total number of beds12 ICU Beds2 Physicians in practice, 5 Mid-lvelsReason for coverage: change in staffing, looking to backfillLevel 1 traumaEMR: Epic2 PhysiciansRequired to supervise and provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call.No other thoracic surgeons will be present during locum call coverage. Conversion/perm fee placement cap $25K90 day credentialing timeframeRequired Procedures: General CV/Thoracic Surgery - openCoronary artery bypass surgery - on pump & Off-pumpCongenital defects (ASD< VSD, PFO, etc.)Valvular Repair & replacementAneurysm Repair - Cardiac & Aorto-thoracicECMO Cannulation and Patient stabilization for transport to academic center in Denver.
