As An Onboarding Specialist You Will:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires from offer acceptance through onboarding completion
Coordinate and manage all pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug screenings, documentation, etc.)
Prepare and send out offer letters, onboarding packets, and orientation schedules
Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and timely
Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and ensure all necessary training is scheduled
Maintain regular communication with new hires prior to their start date to ensure engagement and answer questions
Partner with IT, HR, and hiring managers to ensure new hires are set up with equipment, systems access, and workspace
Track onboarding progress and follow up to resolve any outstanding items
Continually evaluate and improve the onboarding process based on feedback and outcomes
Ensure onboarding practices align with employment laws, company policies, and industry best practices
What We Are Looking For In You:
High school diploma or GED required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized with strong time management abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or onboarding platforms is a plus
Commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for all new employees
Knowledge of HR compliance, I-9 documentation, and onboarding best practices
