With a robust pipeline of new development communities planned across the country, our Graphic Design team is growing! As a member of the Corporate Communications graphic design team, you will provide marketing and branding support to our communities across the country. We believe in the power of in-person collaboration to drive creativity and innovation. Given the highly collaborative nature of our team, we’ve found that working together on-site allows us to achieve the best results. Therefore, this position is designed for those who can thrive in a fully in-office environment in Houston, Texas.
THE BELMONT VILLAGE DIFFERENCE
As a Graphic Production Designer at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be an integral part of our Corporate Communications design team, supporting the marketing and branding of our portfolio of communities across the country. The pace is quick and you will manage multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. This position includes a diverse range of responsibilities that will engage both sides of your brain, calling upon your keen organizational skills and your creative vision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create flyers, postcards, posters, web graphics, landing pages/forms to promote company events, initiatives and services
- Support the production of print advertisements in formatting, versioning, and ensuring that files meet technical specifications
- Provide support in editing and ordering flyers, forms, emails, postcards, posters, T-shirts, large graphic promotions, etc. to promote company events, initiatives and services
- Edit, retouch and resize photos as needed for use in promotional materials
- Follow brand guidelines and ensure brand consistency across all projects
- Coordinate printing with external vendors as needed
- Produce both static/animated digital advertisements
- Archive files within department standard protocols
- Assist with web edits as it pertains to company events
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS
- Associates degree in graphic design, advertising or communications field that requires design
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment
- Ability to thrive and be productive in a fast-paced, high volume production-oriented environment
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of both print and digital media
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles
- Demonstrates a strong attention to detail
- Mac proficient
PREFERENCES
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising or communications field that requires design
- Experience working within an Email/CRM platform (HubSpot, Mail Chimp, Constant Contact) is preferred
- 3-5 years of related work experience preferred
- Experience in Adobe After Effects is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing and proofreading
