Job Summary:
The Southwest Healthcare Regional office is seeking a who will be responsible for supporting the Accounting functions for multiple facilities across the Region. Duties include but not limited to:
- Ensuring accuracy of entries to the general ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts.
- Maintaining financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
- Prepares complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
- Assist with training of department team members as needed.

Qualifications EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in related field required.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in Accounting required. Healthcare Accounting experience, preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- CPA or other professional certification preferred
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and Title standards and guidelines.
- Demonstrates compliance with Healthcare policies and procedures at all times.
- Ability to set priorities and appropriately organize workload and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
- Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft products, such as Excel and Word.
- Must have the ability to use good judgment and critical thinking skills in all situations.
- Must be able to use the following: SMS, AS, Computer, Calculator (-Key Proficient), Fax Machine, LaserJet Printer, AS Printer, SMS Printer.
