Java Developer

Summary

This mid-level Java Developer position requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in Java development.

As a mid-level Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing and maintaining Java-based systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Estimates effort before beginning tasks, focusing on learning to improve estimation skills.

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.

• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve development practices.

• Maintains existing applications as well as creates new functionality.

• Self-motivated and goal oriented.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.

• Experience in working with Java frameworks and libraries (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate and others).

• Experience in web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Experience in Relational Database, SQL and Stored Procedures (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)

• Experience with a variety of development tools including Eclipse IDE, Git version control, Azure DevOps, Jira.

• Experience in Angular/React/Vue, mobile application development and Micro Services architecture.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, attention to detail and teamwork skills.

• Experience in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and GIS is a plus.

• Experience in working with Agile team is a plus.

• Experience with containers and kubernetes a plus.
