Description
Cyient has an opening for an Outside Plant (OSP) Designer, responsible for OSP Fiber, 5G, HFC, and BAU work orders in the greater Los Angeles area. You will have previous OSP engineering and Field data collection experience. You will have experience designing multiple OSP telecom projects simultaneously, including Pole/Make Ready, FTTP, HiCap and BAU projects, and be experienced with client software systems including ICGS/IDDS and PRS. You will also travel to the field to survey and assess current field conditions and meet with the customer as they relate to ongoing OSP designs. You will report directly to the Section Manager in the Thousand Oaks, CA office.
