One of the fastest growing independent packaging businesses in the UK is looking to expand its team. This company’s mission is to be at the forefront of the packaging market, solving real problems for customers with innovative and effective solutions at every opportunity.

As part of continued growth plans, they are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to manage £2m turnover an develop new business through the sale of Strapping and associated products within the UK.

Key Deliverables:

• Build Market Share of UK strapping sales
• Maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
• Manage the current portfolio of accounts
• Identify opportunities for profitable growth within existing and prospect customers
• Provide regular updates on trading performance and sales plan to the Commercial Director
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Market, Industry, Competitors and Future Forecasts

To be successful in the role, Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Experience within the UK Packaging Market, it would be beneficial to have a knowledge of the Steel & Polyester hand tool strapping market
• Commercial awareness
• Proficient IT Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to embrace change
• Proactive problem solver
