About this role:

As a Family Medicine Oncology Survivorship Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. As a Family Medicine Oncology Survivorship Physician, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to oncology patients transitioning into and navigating through the survivorship phase of their healthcare journey. In this role, you will:

• Serve as a coordinator of care, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among specialists, primary care providers, and support services.
• Monitor for recurrence and manage long-term physical and psychological effects of cancer and its treatment.
• Address and manage co-morbid conditions that may impact survivorship.
• Promote healthy behaviors and implement preventive care strategies to support long-term wellness.
• Provide patient-centered care that emphasizes education, empowerment, and quality of life.

This role requires a compassionate, proactive approach to care, with a strong emphasis on continuity, prevention, and holistic support.

This position includes a $18, sign-on bonus, $15,000 in relocation assistance, stipend and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable

• You will practice at Cancer Centers of Colorado - St. Mary’s Regional Hospital at 750 Wellington Ave., Grand Junction, CO 81501
• You will work 3 days in the clinic at .75 FTE

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Family Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
• Experience working with Oncology patients as a Survivorship physician
• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
