Mount Carmel Health System Graduate Medical Education Department is seeking two full-time, dynamic and academically focused OB/GYN hospitalists to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio, providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care across three hospital sites, with a strong emphasis on resident education and high-risk pregnancy management.Job Description:Provide in-house coverage as a full-time OB/GYN hospitalist across three hospital campuses (one site per day)Staff residents on Labor & Delivery (L&D), serving as in-house OB hospitalistPerform gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomy, and manage clinic patientsManage medically complex, high-risk pregnancies and perform advanced obstetrical surgeriesSupervise and teach residents during clinical care and didactic sessionsCollaborate with Graduate Medical Education (GME) teams to enhance resident education and curriculaProvide care in L&D units and emergency situations, ensuring quality, timely obstetrical careWork 12-hour shifts covering days and nights, including weekend rotations and holiday coverage in a scheduled rotation systemParticipate in system-wide OB hospitalist roles and contribute to continuous improvement of care deliveryEngage with the community and support Mount Carmel’s mission to provide excellent care, including to underserved populationsNot open to Locum and/or Locum to Perm candidatesNot open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certification(s) and need to obtain them againNot open to 1099 candidates for this positionNot open to visa candidates for this positionNot open to candidates seeking alternate shift schedulesCompensation and Benefits:Starting salary of $300,000 with a guaranteed 5% annual increase every yearSign-on bonus between $35,000 to $40,000 (negotiable)Comprehensive benefits starting from day 1 of employmentGuaranteed paid time off (PTO) of 27 days (216 hours) annually, with ability to roll over up to 40 hours per yearHoliday pay and a planned holiday rotation schedule for three yearsEligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness ProgramOpportunity to work with a supportive academic team at a Level III NICU facility with a strong residency program affiliated with The Ohio State UniversityFlexible scheduling with options to pick up additional shifts at increased hourly ratesBenefits begin Day 1 ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE NOTED IN ADDITIONAL SUBMISSION DETAILS.
