Sr.Java Developer

Role : Sr.Java Developer

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Need profiles who has worked with Comcast in the past and not current.

Also need someone who has worked with Cognizant or Wipro or Infosys or HCL or any other implementation partners in the past. Do not submit profiles other than that.

Strong Core Java skills (Java 7 / Java 8) Must have hands-on for last 2 years

Service Oriented Architecture development REST

Building microservices

Build tools like Maven, Gradle

Knowledge on Cloud Application Development

Projects with CICD (Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment)

SCM- GIT

RDBMS like Oracle,

Spring framework

ORM - Hibernate / Sprint Data JPA

Testing tools Junit, mocks, Test-NG

Knowledge with Code Quality assessment tools like Sonar

Basic Knowledge Performance and Stress testing skills (Jmeter etc.)

Experience working in Agile Team

Understands the Agile / Scrum Ceremonies

• Will be part of a fast-paced, team responsible for delivering business solution for Comcast BSD eco system. Will be challenged with identifying innovative ideas and proof of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our customers.Work independently, actively participate in discussions and provide technical solutions.
• Analyze requirements / user stories to appropriately support design activities
• Perform all technical aspects of software development (I write, I test, I support) and automation
• Function as an active member of an agile team through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
• Perform unit, component, integration testing of software components including the design, implementation, evaluation, and execution of unit and assembly test scripts
• Conduct code reviews and tests of automated build scripts
• Debug software components, identifies, fixes and verifies remediation of code defects (own work and the work of others)
• Be a change agent, technology evangelist, and innovator to introduce new tools and technologies to improve productivity
• Work with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manage a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues

Minimum Qualification : Bachelors

8+ years of hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing

Solid hands-on experience with Core Java, J2ee, Spring, Micro services

Angular 4 / 5 Work exprience,HTML5 and CSS.

o Jenkins build Management and web deployment process on cloud platform.

o Knowledge on any Cloud platform like Cloud Foundry.

o Exposure to Agile / Scrum based development methodologies

o Experience with documentation on Confluence.
