Job Description:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience with Minimum of 8+years of IT experience.

Primary Skills:

  • Proficiency in Tableau: As a Tableau Developer, having in-depth knowledge of the Tableau software is essential. This includes understanding its features, functionalities, and the ability to create dashboards and reports.
  • Data Analysis: This involves collecting, interpreting, and analyzing raw data to find patterns and provide insights that can help businesses make informed decisions.
  • SQL Knowledge: SQL is often used in Tableau to manage and manipulate data. Therefore, a Tableau Developer should be proficient in SQL.
  • Data Visualization: The ability to present data in a clear, concise, and visually appealing manner is a key skill for a Tableau Developer.
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence: Familiarity with BI concepts, strategies, and tools is necessary as it can help in efficiently using Tableau for data analysis and reporting.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Other BI Tools: Familiarity with other BI tools like Power BI, QlikView can be an added advantage as it can provide a broader perspective and versatility.
  • Programming Skills: Although not a must, having programming skills in languages like Python or R can enhance a Tableau Developer's ability to handle complex data sets.
  • Project Management: The ability to manage projects, coordinate with team members, and deliver results within the stipulated timeline can be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ETL Tools: Understanding ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools can be useful in handling and preparing data for analysis.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with non-technical team members and stakeholders to understand their requirements and explain data insights can be a valuable skill.
