Residential HVAC Technician - Keep South Florida Comfortable!

Are you a skilled and passionate HVAC technician looking to join a family-owned business with a strong reputation?

About Us:Total Appliance & A/C Repairs is a family-owned and operated HVAC service company serving South Florida for over 50 years. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and keeping families comfortable year-round.

The Position:In this technician role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment to ensure our customers' homes stay cool and comfortable. This is a true technician position – there's no sales pressure, just the satisfaction of fixing problems and keeping our customers happy. Over 95% of the service calls you will run will be covered under parts and labor agreements, so you just perform the repairs and keep the customer happy!

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in residential AC units (under 6 tons) in both water source and split system applications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining issues and solutions to homeowners.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:
  • EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
