Job description
Summary As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you are a part of a team that is developing the next generation platform to power the health care staffing industry. You will bring new ideas, approaches and solutions that will help our users and our company grow and evolve. You will display leadership qualities and technical excellence as you tackle problems that span our business domains and our full engineering stack; ranging from the infrastructure, front-end development to back-end data layers. You will design, develop, test and deploy solutions to thousands of health care professionals across the nation. You are a core member of the Technology community that will collaborate across Product Management, UX and Program management to deliver creative and innovative solutions. Essential Functions Design software platforms aligned with the company's goals and mission. 30% Implement software solutions that are scalable, security and delight our users. 30% Contribute to the Technical Community through peer design and code reviews. 20% Do what it takes to ensure that the systems are always available for our users. 10% Commit to continuous learning, self-improvement and prototyping that will enhance our culture of innovation. 10% Requirements TRAVEL Remote position aside from as necessary. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related major from an accredited university or college. EXPERIENCE 8+ years of experience with software development in Javascript, Java, or PHP, including a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms 5+ years of experience with front-end web and mobile UI frameworks (either React or Angular) 5+ years of experience with back-end or API development, including database experience 2+ years of working experience with Cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Deep knowledge of overall software design and architecture principles COMPETENCIES Proven ability to design highly secure, scalable and elegant software applications and platforms Great communication and collaboration skills that can help to translate complex business problems into technical solutions. Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where time-to-market matters. Be data driven in how you approach problems and solutions. Work collaboratively across teams and share knowledge to help others. TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT We strongly believe that the right candidate for this job will have demonstrated technical excellence and the ability to learn new platforms and skills as we adopt the latest platforms to enhance developer productivity. Your skills will continue to evolve as we make technical stack changes that maximize our developer productivity and velocity. Front End: Angular, Angular JS, JavaScript and React (js and native).
