Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining production efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery such as CNC machines, stamping presses, and lathes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Conduct quality control checks to maintain product standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals.
• Utilize tools such as calipers for precise measurements during the manufacturing process.
• Assist in programming machinery as needed for various production tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain workflow.

  Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred.
  • Experience with quality control processes and standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in an assembly line setting.
  • Knowledge of tooling and machining processes is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  Pay: $11.00 – $12.00 per hour

  Expected hours: 40 per week

  Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Rotating shift
  • Weekends as needed
