First Baptist Day School is seeking experienced, nurturing and energetic Lead Infant and Twos teachers.
Must have reliable transportation and proven experience as a leader in the early childhood field.

Job Summary:
  • Creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters the physical, cognitive, and social/emotional development of young children.
  • Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers.
  • Supervision and support of assistant teachers and floaters.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED, Coursework in Early Childhood desirable.
  • Criminal Background check and drug screening required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and approaches to learning for infants and toddlers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with others.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours when needed.
