Spark Scala Developer

Infosys is seeking a Spark and Scala Developer. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this timeAt least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and big data technologies Hands on experience working with Apache Spark, Scala, Spark SQL and StarburstPreferred Qualifications : Knowledge of data serialization formats such as Parquet, Avro, or ORCFamiliarity with data processing and transformation techniquesExperience with data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL processesGood understanding of Agile software development frameworksExperience in Banking domainStrong communication and Analytical skillsAbility to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teamsExperience and desire to work in a global delivery environmentThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
