The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is looking to hire a part-time General Cleaner. Are you an energetic, get-it-done person who is looking for part-time work? This General Cleaner position which is a commercial cleaning job starts at $11.25/hour, depending on experience. We have a very comprehensive industry training program. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PART-TIME GENERAL CLEANER
As a General you are the frontline and are a key component to both TBC and the client. As such, when you arrive for your shift you are ready to get to work. Being proud of the uniform you are wearing with your tools and supplies ready to go you start working efficiently and offering friendly, engaging service to all, exceeding guest and client expectations. Whether it's disinfecting surfaces, or replenishing supplies, you get great satisfaction out of physically seeing what you've accomplished. The General Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that the assigned areas always meet and exceed our client's high standards. You report any maintenance repair or potential safety issues to your supervisor. We have a reputation for quality work and superior service, and this is directly thanks to the great job that you do!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PART-TIME GENERAL CLEANER
Previous commercial cleaning or hospitality experience would be a plus! Are you fast, efficient, self-motivated, and eager to do a good job? Do you have a positive, can-do attitude? Are you the kind of person who prefers to be on your feet moving around? Are you honest and respectful of people's privacy and property? If so, then you might just be perfect for this Porter / Janitorial / BSC Attendant position!
