The Application Analyst 1-Radiology performs system design and specification, including building and testing. Participates in the training program development, train-the-trainer sessions and end-user training activities for specific applications. Defines application system requirements and specifications for assigned projects. Makes management presentations and submits reports as required. Assists in development of policy and procedures related to implementation and maintenance of RIS and PACS in Radiology. These services may be provided for both the LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Performs other duties as assigned. Associate's Degree required or an additional two years of experience required in lieu of degree. Minimum two years of applicable computer-related experience or equipment in RIS and PACS or healthcare field required.
