Radiologic Technologist - Norman, OK
Job Type: (Fulltime/ Permanent)
Shift: Days, Mon-Fri 6a-4p
Shift notes : ( Shift differential available: $2.50/hour for evenings, $3.00/hour for overnight)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented radiologic technologist to be responsible for operating imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes. The radiologic technologist's responsibilities include following physicians' orders regarding the area of the body to scan, positioning patients and equipment, and answering patients' questions. The radiologic technologist will use imaging equipment to capture images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels, and may assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments or radiopharmaceuticals.
Requirements:
•Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the ARRT or the JRCERT - Required
•1 year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist - Preferred
•ARRT registered or registry eligible - Required
•BLS Certification - Required
