Position Description:
Demonstrates an awareness of the overall operation of the facility in relation to total patient care. Maintains a work area that is clean, orderly, and professional in it’s appearance. Assists in the cleaning and organization of the department without direction. Demonstrates an ability to work with a variety of patients and families regardless of varied racial, ethnic and sociological backgrounds. Strives to work effectively and maintain good working relationships with other members of the health care team. Fosters a collaborative effort in regards to patient care .
Qualifications Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:
- Five or more years experience in the field of physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience in a related department with duties that involved increasing responsibilities.
- Acute Care Hospital or Acute Rehabilitation Hospital experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited therapy curriculum with a Bachelors or Masters degree with certification in therapy
- Current California Physical Therapist, Occupational Thearpists, or Speech Language Pathologist license.
- BLS (AHA) current certification.
