About the Clinician's WorkdayThe physician associate will provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage with 8-10 hour day shifts and call responsibilities for both ICU and OR settings. The role requires performing EVH, CABG, and aortic valve procedures while managing adult patients in a Level 2 trauma facility. The clinician will work 7 on/off shift rotations and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care across the medium-sized hospital's cardiothoracic surgery service line. Board certification and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements for this position.
