About the role

The role reports directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and is responsible for managing the transition of newly-acquired Practices to AEG, including transitioning and closing of Vendors as appropriate, coordinating transfer of financial information between AEG and the Practice, and supporting the reconciliation of collections and expenses in the legacy bank accounts. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that financials are accurate and up to date.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Function as a work leader, providing operational support to our seller and internal partners
• Following up on action items consistently via emails/telephone for our internal and external partners.
• Communicate and collaborate with M&A for execution of practice start-ups (acquisition), from start to finish.
• Assist in standardization and improvement of processes within the department to enhance and increase productivity.
• Responsible for obtaining Bank and CC statements from seller and other needed documentation for the reconciliation process.
• Assist staff, management, and internal/external partners with issues resolution.
• Respond to internal, external, and field location inquiries, as necessary.
• Maintain accurate, timely and well-organized computer files.
• Meet departmental goals and expectations and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Making sure Smartsheet's are updated in a timely.
• Oversee area of responsibility in a manner consistent with the Mission and Values of the Company.
• Process documentation ownership, create documentation and update periodically; ensure appropriate controls are in place.
• Ad-hoc special projects

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 years of Accounts Payable experience
• In-depth knowledge of accounts payable process and relationship of Accounts Payable to overall accounting function.
• Organization and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Strong communications, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics and/or Concur Software a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Series (Excel, Word and Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn and use job-specific computer programs.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
• Ability to work with vendors and employees at all levels of the organization promptly and professionally.
• Strong writing, math, computer, managerial, motivational and interpersonal skills.
• Personable, helpful, enthusiastic, creative, project a positive attitude and be a team leader and player.
