The Payroll and Account Payable Coordinator position is a full-time, benefit eligible, hours per week position.

Responsibilities
- Processes payroll via Lawson – Follows proper steps of balancing payroll by running multiple payroll reports and missing time reports
- Ensures accuracy of payroll prior to releasing batches
- Responsible for ensuring all departments have turned in timesheets and following up on missing time records
- Reviews and processes Accounts Payable in a timely manner
- Processes termination checks timely and payout benefits as needed
- Edits Kronos reports on an ongoing basis on a departmental basis throughout each pay period accurately
- Enters new hires immediately after receipt into Kronos with correct class codes and badge numbers. Assures that the same Employee ID # is entered in Kronos as assigned by Lawson
- Assists the Payroll Manager on issuing separate checks, prepaid vacations, bonuses and any other miscellaneous pay due
- Updates the weekly Dashboard report to be given to CFO after each week is finalized with edits
- Updates reports for CEO each week and month on payroll specialized items per request

Qualifications Requirements
- High School Diploma Required, Associates in Accounting, Business, etc. preferred.
- Must have 1-3 years in data processing, payroll processing, payroll regulatory and compliance background, or related experience.
- Knowledge of and ability to work with various payroll systems and other computer software packages required.
- Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
