Asphalt Striping

Asphalt Striping Laborer Job Duties : Set up, layout, stencils and measuring parking lots in compliance with the work order Read, interpret and follow blueprints, drawings and specifications as required to layout unmarked pavement markings.

Perform manual labor, including the use of stencils, torches, hand tools and operate various equipment; drive support trucks on a daily basis, load and unload equipment, supplies and materials.

Control traffic passing, in, and around work zones

Review and understand all equipment operations manuals

Load and Unload 5-gallon buckets of paint from trailers

Apply paint through the use of mechanical striping machines

Apply paint to pavement in accordance to manufacturer's specifications

Assist in job site cleanup

Navigate to and from work sites

Utilize laser to guide machinery along existing lines or new layout marks for the purpose of painting.

Operates and assists in the operation of vehicles, trailers and equipment; drive company vehicles to / from job site(s) and effective use of maps / GPS

Perform and document daily equipment and vehicle inspections as required.
