Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, Music Education, or closely related field, with preference for applicants with Master’s degree. Strong preference for applicants with degree focused on Piano Accompaniment. 2. Valid teaching certification for the state of New Mexico, or ability to obtain certification or alternative licensure before the start date. 3. Exceptional piano performance and sight-reading skills, with proven choral accompaniment experience. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents.
