The Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Nurse Midwife or Physician Assistant to join its team on a staff relief (per diem) basis. The selected candidate will collaborate with a highly specialized team of Ob/Gyn Hospitalists in an inpatient setting to care for patients in a high-volume labor and delivery unit. Responsibilities will include providing first assist on c-sections, conducting postpartum rounds, managing VBACs and TOLACs, and providing coverage in the emergency department. The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years†clinical experience in an inpatient and outpatient obstetrics setting. Candidates must have completed an ACME-accredited program and have a national Certified Midwife Certification from the AMCB. A BLS, ACLS, and NRP from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
This is a per diem position that offers professional malpractice and medical liability covered under sovereign immunity.
