[job_card.job_description]Education Required : High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field Experience Required : Minimum 6 years of IT Administration or related IT experience Preferred : Previous experience in IT systems, platforms, operations & infrastructure and / or security management experience of current risk & trends using a security framework Skills Essential ability to work independently with minimal oversight while collaborating with a team Ability to present information to a technical as well as a non-technical audience Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, demanding and dynamic work environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to be positive, proactive, and flexible in dealing with a variety of situations, personalities, and levels of knowledge, understanding and experience Strong planning, organization and time management skills Maintains expert knowledge of NIST, HIPAA security regulation and PCI DSS standards Comprehensive knowledge of auditing principles, regulations, technical architectures, control process and assurance practices for IT Security Strong technical understanding of IT security risks, controls, and cloud security challenges. Ability to understand and develop best practices in several domains of information technology Indepth understanding of virtualization and its role in Cyber Security testing and evaluation of risks Develop and maintain understanding of the full cyber kill chain and the various emerging threats Licensure / Certification / Registration Preferred : CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CEH, OCSP or other relevant certification
Summary
- The Cyber Security Analyst will participate in all aspects of IT security focusing primarily on the more advanced technical aspects of Threat Hunting and Risk Detection. The Cyber Security Analyst works independently within the established procedures to ensure secure network access and protect against unauthorized access, modifications, or destruction data and services. Responsible for maintaining and updating Cyber Security tools and systems required by the organization. The Cyber Security Analyst is expected to investigate and report security and compliance concerns within the organization. Continuous learning through “Relentless-incrementalism” is a core principle of the team.
