Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification Postdoctoral training is highly desirable. Evidence of teaching excellence is highly desirable, as is at least one year of experience with case-based and active learning methods in both small and large group settings. Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of prior teaching experience in medical education programs, and to those who will be actively engaged in some form of research or scholarship. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Our students study basic and clinical sciences in a highly integrated, systems-based, hybrid curriculum that incorporates active learning strategies in small and large group settings. We seek outstanding, team-oriented educators with excellent communication skills who will share our excitement in contributing to this dynamic and innovative educational program. - Teach basic science concepts and facilitate self-directed learning as needed in the integrated curriculum at the School of Medicine in both large and small group settings.
- Participate in faculty run quiz and exam building and post-examination faculty adjudication sessions throughout the academic year.
- Participation in educational research or other forms of research/scholarship.
- Participation on department, school and/or university committees.
