The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing user hardware support, performing hardware maintenance, and offering software assistance. Additionally, the role involves delivering end-user training and managing document control. Collaboration with other team members to effectively resolve issues is also a key aspect of this position. Responsibilities:
- Software and hardware support, including personal computers, monitors, mice, and keyboards
- Ghosting of workstations and laptops
- Disposal of all computer-related equipment
- Documentation of standard hints and techniques
- Monthly reporting and documentation for audits
- Shipping and receiving of equipment
- Asset tagging computer equipment
- Hardware tracking computer equipment
- Auditing computer equipment
- Initializing backup tapes for Windows and iSeries
- Coordinate with other Information System Group associates to resolve problems if necessary
- End user support
- Training and document control
- Participate in other projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in IT, or equivalent experience in Software and Hardware Support
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization skills
- Self-motivated individual who can multitask
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Highly organized and problem-solving skills
