Position Details

  • Performs a variety of clerical tasks in a professional and service-oriented manner;
  • Knowledge of clerical and general office procedures and practices; knowledge of spelling, grammar and punctuation; knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications and software;
  • Skilled in the operation of a personal computer, as appropriate to the assignment; skilled in oral and written communication; skilled in interpersonal relations;
  • Ability to organize and complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner; ability to perform work requiring accuracy and attention to detail; ability to operate a variety of office equipment;
  • Serves as secondary contact person for callers and visitors to the Administrative Office/Department;
  • Copies, files and scans documents in accordance with office procedures;
  • Completes data entry using a variety of applications and software;
  • Picks up and distributes mail to appropriate personnel;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Regular admission into an ASU graduate degree or certification program is required.
  • All graduate students who are awarded assistant ships must be enrolled in graduate coursework during the terms of their appointments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with knowledge graphs, graph databases, or semantic web technologies (e.g., RDF, SPARQL, Neo4j).
  • Background in natural language processing, LLMs, or information extraction.
  • Familiarity with XAI, cybersecurity, privacy-preserving methods, or distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, real-time data processing, or IoT data.

  • Prior research experience and interest in publishing.
